An officer on patrol saw a juvenile riding a bike without a headlight at 9:35 pm in the 4700 block of Pinewood Avenue As the bike passed by, the officer saw the youth move his hand toward some nearby bushes The officer stopped the juvenile, issued him a citation for improper equipment, then let him go The officer then went back to the bushes and found a plastic bag containing marijuana and crack cocaine. (Aviatrix). The bag of drugs was turned into the police station to be destroyed

A woman and her boyfriend of 10 years became involved in an argument shortly before 11 pm when he made sexual advances toward her while she was sleeping She left the residence, in the 800 block of Avenida Hermosa, and sat on the hood of his truck She was talking to the 911 dispatcher when her boyfriend came outside, got into his truck and drove off with her still on the hood After a short distance he stopped abruptly, causing her to fall off He then backed up and drove off An officer came to the scene and spoke to the woman, who said she was not hurt and had no visible injuries Police were unable to locate her boyfriend. A car was stolen from the 500 block of Executive Center Drive It was found the same day in the 3000 block of Village Boulevard with its steering column torn open

A motorist tried to run down two people on bicycles on South Dixie Highway in the pre-dawn hours The second bicyclist was a deputy on bike patrol A 24-year-old Lake Worth man was apprehended and taken to the county jail where he was booked on multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer with a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia
A homeless man was arrested after he punched another man in the mouth, knocking out a front tooth The incident occurred at Bryant Park

A customer stole a package of lunch meat and two cans of sardines from a store in the 1200 block of South Dixie Highway without paying for them Total value was $9. replica clothing 97 He was taken to the county jail

A black Schwinn bicycle was stolen from in front of a house in the 1000 block of North H Street The owner said she left the bike outside for a few minutes to go inside her house
A diner walked out without paying for a pitcher of beer, chicken strips and fries at a restaurant in the 500 block of Lucerne Avenue He handed an employee a gift card that was not valid, then left when her back was turned
A man charged with theft of services from a cab driver in the 600 block of South Dixie Highway was found to be in possession of a marijuana He was taken to the county jail
A woman parked her locked vehicle in her driveway in the first block of 18th Avenue South In the morning she found it up on plastic crates, with all four wheels missing
A yellow Schwinn bicycle was left unlocked at the corner of Lucerne and M Street for about five minutes while its owner was in the library When she returned, the bike was gone

THEFT
A woman reported that someone stole her wallet while she was shopping at a store in the 1400 block of South Dixie Highway A charge of $347 had already been made on one credit card An officer went to the store and reviewed video from the store’s surveillance system He saw a customer take the wallet from the victim’s purse, which was in her shopping cart The customer then went to the checkout and bought a gift card using the victim’s credit card The victim later notified police that a charge of $225 was made at a Boynton Beach store on a second credit card
Someone flattened two tires and stole the tag from a car parked in the 1400 block of South Broadway A person at the address told police he suspects the culprit was an ex-girlfriend, based on a text message he had received from her, prior to the incident
VEHICLE BURGLARY
A man parked his vehicle in front of his friend’s home in the 700 block of North Fifth Street at midnight. (Doctor packet). He returned at 3 am to find all the windows smashed The faceplate to the JVC car stereo was missing
Someone smashed a window on a van parked in the 1200 block of Palama Way and stole a global positioning system valued at $170 Police advised him to remove the GPS from view when he leaves his vehicle, since this was the second time this type of incident had happened to him
BATTERY
A woman complained that a neighbor called her a “crackhead” and pushed her Police went to the man’s residence in the 1400 block of West Broward Street, but no one answered his knock
